In Berkeley tucked in a little used corner off ashby and highway 80 is a small building with a big radio antenna. This is the KRE building, a working dual band AM radio transmitter and station turned museum.
The guys who run it are mostly passionate radio connoisseurs, and old radio guys who want to preserve the history of radio technologies and personalities.
They offer tours if the place and other services such as digitizing your old records and tape recordings ( and we're talking OLD) got a 33 laying around that you can't listen to? Bring it here.
The tour is informative and the group working here in passionate which makes it that much more interesting. They even have the booth set up from the filming of the Wolfman Jack scenes in American Graffitti.

Ironstone Winery, Murphys California
I visited this winery for the Ironstone Concour D'Elegance. I Was surprised at how large and nice the winery was. What a gorgeous location for a large event. Apparently, they do concerts up here too.

Pizza Orgasmica
In SF, Jim and I stopped here on our way to Trivia at the Elephant and Castle. The pizza is delicious, but the young lady who works there does not know the difference between cheese and garlic.
